The magnificent, majestic the Umaid Bhawan Palace is all set to hosts the country’s next most awaited Priyanka Chopra Wedding. As the ceremony gears near, fans want to grasp as much as information as they can.
No doubt that this palace has hosted high profile events in the past – Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar’s wedding reception in 2007 and Naomi Campbell’s ex-boyfriend Vladimir Doronin’s 50th birthday, the Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani’s wife Nita Ambani’s birthday party and many more.
The countdown for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ royal wedding has already begun and the preparations are on in full swing. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas will get married at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur on December 2, with pre-wedding festivities kicking in later this month.
Nick and Priyanka’s Jodhpur wedding, big fat wedding is said to be a rather intimate affair with just close friends and family in attendance. It’s going to be a 5-day ceremony starting from November 29 to December 3 with Sangeet, Mehendi, Haldi followed by two wedding ceremonies for the couple – first as per the Hindu traditions and then a Christain wedding.
The couple will get married in this royal palace on 2nd of December, but just before that the wedding festivities will start from 29th of November. While being in India for a short while the couple visited Jodhpur, at The Umaid Bhawan Palace and Mehrangarh Fort to check the venue for their wedding ceremonies.
Preparations have been on in full swing, with Priyanka’s mother Madhu personally overseeing the last minute details. Priyanka attended a bachelorette party and a bridal shower in Amsterdam and New York respectively before returning to India for her professional commitments. She was busy with the recently concluded schedule of The Sky Is Pink in Delhi, before the parties and rituals to be performed in Mumbai.
According to the reports Priyanka Chopra wants to come to Jodhpur to see her wedding arrangements but due to her schedule, she was not able to make it. Her mother Madhu Chopra came to see her daughter’s wedding arrangement. Earlier, in an interview, Madhu Chopra said that ‘she roamed all around the world but they select Jodhpur for her daughter’s wedding ceremony and she said that she loved the city Jodhpur.
The guests will be received with the royalty because Priyanka wants to make her wedding to be memorable for everyone and has booked helicopters for the guests which will pick them up from the Jodhpur airport and will drop at the front gate of The Umaid Bhawan Palace. These helicopters are booked from 29th November and 3rd December.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jona got engaged in the month of August in the traditional Roka ceremony this lavish engagement party was held in Mumbai. The couple first came in the in the in July after they announced their relationship publicly.

29 नवंबर को उमेद भवन पैलेस में प्री-वेडिंग समारोह होंगे। 30 नवंबर को मेहरानगढ़ किले में संगीत समारोह होगा, जिसमें कपल देसी गाने के साथ ही कुछ हॉलीवुड गाने पर भी परफॉर्म करेंगे साथ ही उसी दिन ही कॉकटेल पार्टी आयोजित की जाएगी जिसमें करीबी दोस्त और रिश्तेदार शामिल होंगे। 1 दिसंबर को हल्दी समारोह होगा और 2 दिसंबर को दोनों शादी के बंधन में बंध जाएंगे। शादी के बाद प्रियंका-निक दिल्ली और मुंबई में दो रिसेप्शन की मेजबानी भी करेगी।
The duo, reports claim, will get married twice in accordance with Hindu as well as Christian traditions. No official announcement has been made by Priyanka regarding her wedding so far, however. The couple has invited a selected guest list of around 110 people in their wedding ceremony as per the sources.
While looking on the attire the bride will wear Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla for the Hindu ceremony and for the Christian ceremony she will wear Ralph Lauren design.
